CONTROLS SALES COORDINATOR

Lighting Environments and Environments is looking for driven and eager sales coordinators (inside sales) to join our growing team in the Baltimore-Metropolitan area!

We are seeking to hire two (2) high-performing Controls Sales Coordinators to maintain relationships with customers and work directly with the Sales Associate (outside sales) to meet the needs of the lighting controls specifier. Additionally, this position will:

Provide responsive customer service to both the outside sales team and the specifying client, conducting communications via email, phone or virtual meetings.
Aids outside sales with quick answers to client questions, while the Sales Associate is on the road or unavailable to assist.
Creates detailed layouts, bill of material, sequence of operations and estimation of energy saved.
Recommends best product for application based on specifier’s needs.
Performs various administrative duties, such as attending meetings, keeping track of job progress, etc.
May assist in client event coordination and set-up.
Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.

We are looking for sales coordinators who:

Delivers excellent customer service both externally and internally.
Hands-on and has a collaborative approach and style.
Proactively nurture and develop clients’ relationships.
Competitive drive necessary to meet or exceed company goals.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks independently.
Ability to respond timely, good time management and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
Competent in verbal and written communications.

Additional Requirements:

A minimum of one (1) to two (2) year(s) of customer service/inside sales experience required.
Proven track record in specification sales, with demonstrated strength in the technical aspects of lighting controls sales.
An Associate’s Degree in Science, Arts and/or Business Administration.
Must be comfortable with in-person customer responsibilities and travel on occasions. Driving record may be subject to review.
Industry experience and/or knowledge of lighting controls or building controls is a plus!
